Security personnel initiated search operations on Monday in response to reports of suspicious activity the Udhampur and Rajouri districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
The authorities carried out thorough searches in Patnitop’s Karlah area and heightened security measures at the well-known Patnitop tourist destination following the reports.
According to officials, the search operation in Karlah’s vast forest belts was still underway at the time of the most recent updates.Furthermore, due to similar concerns, search operations were also conducted in Kalakote’s Jata area, as well as Sunderbani’s Devak and Triyath regions.
The search operation was a “routine exercise” according to to police officer quoted by PTI.
